As a light sailor, you will have an executive role in which learning is key. You will work together with other crew members and assist them with their duties. You will have the opportunity to learn the job of sailor step by step. Tasks: - Taking daily note of the tasks to be performed and discussing them with the captain and/or colleagues if necessary. - Mooring and unmooring the ship. - Maintaining the ship: painting, maintaining ropes and steel wire, tidying up, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment. - Operating machinery correctly and carefully. - Performing various household tasks, such as keeping the living quarters clean and providing meals for all those on board.
